38 Years of Faith: Join Greater Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Celebrating Our Anniversary
For nearly four decades, Greater Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church has stood as a place of worship, family, and faith in Wichita, KS. On Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 3:30 PM, we will gather at 1270 N Kansas St to celebrate our 38th Church Anniversary — and you’re invited.
This is more than just an anniversary service. It’s a testimony of God’s faithfulness, a celebration of the lives touched through ministry, and an opportunity for our entire Wichita community to come together in thanksgiving.
The Story of 38 Years
Since its founding, Greater Mt. Moriah has been a church “Where We Practice Faith.” Through the leadership of Pastor Keither Florence, Sr., and the dedication of our members, we have seen God transform lives, restore families, and grow disciples.
Every milestone matters, but the 38th anniversary carries a special meaning: it represents endurance, legacy, and the joy of standing firm in God’s promises across generations.
What to Expect on October 19th
At 3:30 PM, the sanctuary will open for a spirit-filled celebration. Expect:
- Dynamic Worship – lifting up voices in praise and thanksgiving.
- Inspiring Preaching – a message centered on God’s Word and the power of faith.
- Fellowship – an atmosphere of love, joy, and unity.
This service is designed to honor the past, celebrate the present, and look with expectation toward the future of what God will continue to do through Greater Mt. Moriah in Wichita.
